Working as designed
From System Manager Release 10.1.0.2, use the setSingleUserModeCred.sh script to set the credentials for the single-user mode login. With these credentials the super user can
reboot the operating system to edit, and access the GRUB (GRand Unified Bootloader) menu for emergency maintenance or troubleshooting purpose. Without configuring these credentials, you cannot reboot the operating system into single-user mode.
